2008. Tropical storn Hanna becomes extra tropical after moving off of the Massachusettes costline on a north east track. At the time the storm still had 50 mph winds. Hanna moved up the entire eastern coast bringing sustained tropical storm force winds to every atlantic state except Georgia, New Hampshire and Maine. Noviscotia also reported tropical storm force winds from the extra tropical storm
