There is really no significant weather to report. This work week will end on a rather sunny note. Clouds move in for the weekend as a storm passes to our south, and then a mix of sun and clouds early next week.

Looking further into next week, it's looking like a storm system may pass through the region Tuesday and Wednesday. At the moment, this storm appears similar to many of the others we've seen this winter. That is, it should present as a plume of moisture that results in a day of possible showers or light rain (Tuesday), followed by a heavier pulse of rain the next day (Wednesday). There may be enough cold air for some sort of sleet or icing next Tuesday night, but at this time, any real snow seems like it would be limited to far upstate NY. Again, this is a pattern we've seen a lot this winter. This potential storm is still a week away, so we'll monitor it more later, but for now.. enjoy the dry weather.

Currently, there does not appear to be any promising snowstorms on the horizon through at least February 10th
