Forecast Overview
Last Updated: 10:00PM December 14th

10:00PM Sunday

The upcoming week looks to be relatively friendly for early December. A storm system trekking through the northeastern states will likely give us some light rain Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Right now it does not look like there should be any notable snow with this storm, but we'll have to wait and see. After this storm, high pressure will build in for the middle and end of the week keeping our weather mainly dry. Temperatures will generally run a couple degrees above average this week, generally reaching the upper 30s to lower 40s.

Looking to the end of the year…
There is the possibility of a coastal storm late next weekend. As the Quick-Forecast Table below says, low confidence on this event since it is a week out, but as of right now we could see some snow then. Beyond that… chances are we'll see at least one more rain or snowstorm before January, however, it doesn't look like we'll see any notable cold snaps at least until the very, very end of the year.

Interesting factoid:
Last year, by December 17th Kingston had recieved over 15 inches of snow, and had used four snow days!
