2:00AM Wednesday

The storm front is currently jut south of New York City.

Expect precipitation to begin around daybreak.

Temperatures are currently in the mid to upper 30s (Poughkeepsie is actually reporting 40) and will only fall slowly through out the day. It would not be a big surprise at all to see either rain or mixed precipitation during the morning before changing over to all snow this afternoon. For now will leave projected totals in the 5 to 10 inch range.

8:00AM Tuesday

Latest expectations for Wednesday's snowstorm:
Snow, overspreading the region between 6AM and 9AM.
One to two inches of snow through 1PM
Potentially heavy snow in the afternoon.
Additional accumulation of 4 to 8 inches through midnight.
Snow tapering off around midnight.
Total accumulations of 5 to 10 inches.
