High pressure that has kept our weather quite chilly over the past few days will slide off the coast as we head into the weekend. This will allow for a southerly wind flow to develop across the eastern US this weekend, generating more seasonable temperatures.

As the high shifts out of the picture, a low pressure will develop across the Great Lakes. This low will surge a warm front through the region on Monday allowing for the warmest temperatures we’ve seen in nearly two weeks.

With it will also come a likely chance of rain. Rain tapers off Monday evening as the trailing cold front swings through. Behind the front, generally dry conditions and temperatures fairly typical of late November will settle in through the middle of the week.
