Brief Overview
Last Updated: 8:30PM Feb. 18th

8:30PM Tuesday

An entirely separate system will move through the region on Wednesday producing precipitation. However, this system will pull in warmer air, so looking for a mixed event transitioning to rain.

Looking for a wintry mix beginning after 8 or 9AM.
Temperatures climb above freezing before noon, with a changeover to plain rain. Temperatures should reach the upper 30's by mid afternoon. If there are any lingering showers by the evening, they may transition back to very light snow.

In all, looking for less than an inch of wintry precipitation.
mainly between the 8/9AM start time and noon, followed by rain showers.

Road conditions will likely be slick prior to the changeover tomorrow, but so long as districts do not issue delays due to
the leftovers of today's snow, this should not impact the schools.
Am just mentioning this, and will not reflect it in the probabilities.
Black ice may be a concern tomorrow night.

This system will mark the beginning of a temporary warm up for our region. Wednesday and Thursday we'll reach the 40s. By Friday we could be pushing 50 as another system brings rain.

Temperatures should fall back to more normal levels by the end of the weekend.
