Brief Overview
Last Updated: 10:10PM Feb. 5th

10:00PM Wednesday

Lingering flurries and light snow are decreasing in intensity, though we may see some periodic flurries through the night.

Quite possibly looking at a delay tomorrow, but this is NOT a definite as some main roads are already showing signs of improvement.
Opted to side a little closer to a delay because Kingston has a large population of students who walk to school. Also parts of the district picked up several more inches of snow than Kingston.

Highland and Marlboro … just south of Kingston…
have already issued delays for tomorrow.

Saugerties …just to the north of Kingston…
has posted that they will have normal classes

The weather through Friday looks clear.
Temperatures will generally make it into the 20s.
Chance of snow for the second half of the weekend…
More on this possibility come Friday.

6:30PM Wednesday

Kingston picked up 9.2 inches of snow today.

This ranks as Kingston's 10th largest snowfall
since November 2004.

#1 … 16.0" … March 16, 2007
#2 … 12.2" … January 22, 2005
#3 … 11.5" … December 9, 2005
#4 … 11.0" … February 14, 2007
#5 … 10.5" … February 28, 2005
#5 … 10.5" … March 23, 2005
#7 … 10.0" … December 27, 2010
#7 … 10.0" … February 8, 2013
#9 … 9.5" … December 13, 2007
#10 … 9.2" … February 5, 2014

We could see some light snow showers at times.
Perhaps an additional coating of snow.

I'll have a final update at 10:00PM
