Brief Overview

4:00PM Sunday

As of 4PM, still keeping an eye on the system slated to pass through extreme southern NY tomorrow. Right now it looks like IF there are any accumulations in Ulster County, they could range from a trace in the north (Saugerties, Woodstock), to an inch or maybe two in the south (Ellenville, Wallkill, Marlboro). Timing …
mainly between 7AM an 1PM.

Update at 10PM.

11:00AM Sunday

Trends have been indicating a mid-week winter storm for the past four days, and with the impact now being less than three days away, the probability of this event is pretty high.

Before we get there…
A separate winter storm will pass just south of New York into tomorrow. It still looks like any accumulating snow should stay south of the Mid-Hudson Valley, but we could see some flurries or light snow showers early tomorrow morning. I'll have updates based on the evening trends.

GROUNDHOGS!
Today is groundhog's day.
There is a new post about some local groundhogs under the "Kingstonsnows Extras" tab.
