Looking ahead to the rest of the week:

Cold air should gradually subside beginning this afternoon. Looking at a potential rainstorm for the weekend. The set up for this looks to be very similar to the storm earlier this week. Freezing rain and ice could be a concern early Saturday, depending on the exact timing.

There is the potential for up to an inch of rain with this storm.

At the present, it doesn't look like the mid-Hudson Valley will see any notable snow accumulation until at least the middle of next week.
