The "no-show snow-low" that passed to our south last night is currently throwing precipitation back across the region. This will be enhanced by a system over the Great Lakes.

For tonight,
Look for snow to continue through 6AM, with snow possible through 9AM. Accumulations are likely to be in the 2 to 4 inch range.

Regarding probabilities, my main concern at the moment is how much accumulation will actually stick to the roadways…

Melting snowfall this afternoon has lead to wet roadways, which may make it more difficult for additional accumulations later on. Also, additional snowfall tonight should be of the wet-sticky variety, opposed to dry and powdery.

Temperatures are currently forecast to bottom out at 30 degrees, though temperatures have been running lower than forecast this afternoon, and I suspect we'll dip slightly lower.

In either case, at least some road accumulations are likely by daybreak. I'll have an update at 8PM tonight.
