Snow may mix with rain or sleet during the afternoon and evening as warmer air begins to filter into the upper atmosphere.

Highs will be around 37. Morning lows around 25. There is the potential for 2 to 4 inches of snow during the day on Wednesday.

Snow may turn to a wintry mix Wednesday night, but then transition back to mainly snow before daybreak Thursday. Accumulating snow should end around 8AM Thursday, before a transition to rain or mix. An additional 1 to 3 inches of snow is possible Wednesday evening into Thursday morning.

Friday will be partly cloudy with highs around 42, and lows around 27.
Another system may impact us heading into next weekend, but this system looks to be mainly rain.

In regards to this week's storm, right now it does look like we will see moderate accumulation, although the forecast will likely need additional adjusting over the next 48 hours. Also, the bulk of the storm looks to impact us during Wednesday afternoon with strong lingering affects into Thursday. With actual air temperatures running a bit above freezing on Wednesday, it remains to be seen how much of the snow will actually stick to roadways during the day on Wednesday.

Based on the current forecast, it looks like the most likely impact this week may be a delay on Thursday, although an early dismissal on Wednesday is not entirely out of the question. We'll have to see how the system develops as it gets closer.

Kingston picked up 3.25 inches of snow on Friday.
This brought the season total snowfall to 16.35 inches.

Next Update:
Tuesday Afternoon.
