The next few days will be sunny and quiet, and like so many days this winter, they may even feel spring-like. As we head into the middle of the week, a potent system will bring another return to winter.

Sunday through Tuesday
Mostly sunny skies. Mostly clear overnight.
Highs will make it into the 40s on Sunday and Tuesday. Monday's highs will reach the low 50s. Overnight lows will be in the 20s.

A chance of snow after 7AM, and then rain and snow likely after 1PM.
Rain and snow transitioning to mostly snow during the night.
Highs will be around 36. Morning lows around 26.

Snow likely before 6AM, then a chance of rain and snow during the day.
Highs around 37. Morning lows around 32.

Friday will be partly cloudy with highs around 42, and lows around 27.
Another system may impact us heading into next weekend.

In regards to this week's storm, right now it does look like we will see at least light snow accumulation. The main determining factor for accumulation and cancellations will be the timing. If the heaviest precipitation falls during the day, then there is likely to be less snow accumulation. Based on the current forecast, it looks like the most likely impact this week may be a delay on Thursday, but we'll have to see how the system develops as it gets closer.

Kingston picked up 3.25 inches of snow on Friday.
This brought the season total snowfall to 16.35 inches.

Next Update:
Tuesday Afternoon.
