Rain will develop after midnight tonight, and persist throughout Friday morning. Temperatures however, will be hovering around 34 degrees for several hours early tomorrow morning, so there could be a period of snow and sleet between 3AM and 7AM tomorrow morning. Highs Friday afternoon will be around 47.

Second least snowy winter

The National Weather Service released some interesting, but not surprising records today. The 3 month period from December through February was the least snowy on record in Albany. The season total so far in Albany is the second least snowy on record.
