3:00PM Update:

Temperatures have been continuously running 6 or 7 degrees below forecast. The result has been an all snow event. Temperatures should hold steady. Also, based off the radar, I am expecting an earlier end to the snow than is reflected by the National Weather Service. Snow should taper off between 6PM and 7PM, with some lingering showers possible. Currently snow is falling at a steady rate, and this should continue. Currently expecting total snow accumulation of around half an inch with up to an inch possible.

Snow should begin to accumulate on roadways and walkways
from here on out.

Next Update at 6PM

12:00PM Update:

As of 12PM, light snow has moved into the Kingston area.
Light snow should continue through out the early afternoon, mixing with and probably changing over to plain rain in the next hour as temperatures rise. We may see rain change back over to snow or a mix later this afternoon. A mix of sorts will continue through about midnight. Less than an inch of accumulation is possible.

The high today will peak around 40.
The low tonight will drop to around 33.

I'll have an update later tonight to readdress Friday's school probabilities.

Friday
Any lingering rain or snow will taper off before sunrise.
Temperatures will rise into the mid-40's, and skies should clear by the afternoon.

Saturday
Increasing clouds, especially during the evening.
High 46. Morning low of 25.

Sunday
A developing storm will impact us Saturday night into Sunday.
There is still considerable uncertainty as to the track and strength, but current thinking gives us around of precipitation during the day on Sunday. Temperatures are expected to rise into the upper 30s, so there will likely be at least a period of rain Sunday afternoon. Periods of snow may also be possible at the beginning and end of the storm.

Next Update:
By 10PM Tonight.
