A new low pressure system will approach from the southwest on Thursday. This system will give our region an extended period of mainly rain Tomorrow.

Thursday
Look for increasing clouds with rain developing around 3PM.
Rain will persist throughout the night.
High's on Thursday will be around 45.

Friday
Rain will begin to taper off before sunrise.
Early morning lows will be around 33 degrees, so there is the chance that we could see some wet snow mixed in, especially if showers linger until around 6am when temperatures will be at their minimum. No snow accumulation is expected.

The rest of Friday will remain fairly cloudy.
High around 46.

Saturday
Partly cloudy.
High 44. Low 25.

Sunday
A developing storm will impact us Saturday night into Sunday.
Right now, it appears that there will be at least a period of light snow.
Some of the models depict a strong system, but given the history of this winter, I am inclined to favor the lighter scenario for now. Some accumulation may be possible early Sunday.

I apologize that there was no update last night.
For whatever reason, my internet connection decided to malfunction.

I'll have another update tomorrow afternoon around 3PM,
ahead of Thursday night's storm.

Next Update:
Thursday Afternoon.
