Light mixed precipitation has developed over the region. This will continue throughout the afternoon and should gradually transition to all rain later this evening. We may see a brief lull in the precipitation this evening before the heavier rain moves in later tonight. A coating of wet snow is possible, mainly on grassy and snow covered surfaces.

Today will remain mostly cloudy, in advance of tonight's system. Look for rain to develop around sunset. Rain will persist through out the night and into tomorrow morning. Overnight low will only reach 36 degrees.
Rain showers will linger until about noon tomorrow.
Current forecast high for Friday: 52 degrees.
We could receive over an inch of rain tonight and tomorrow.
In a normal winter, this would likely be 8 to 12 inches of snow.
It'll be mostly cloudy for the weekend with just a chance of rain or snow showers… mainly on Sunday.
