July of 1997 was not a good month for one household in Mitchell, S.D. First, on the 16, lightning struck the house's fuse box and also destroyed a freezer compressor. But apparently lightning does strike twice because on the 24th of the month, the house got struck again, destroying televisions, VCRs, and phones.

Whats that? Your car broke down ? Fui!! Well get over it!
On July 29, 1997, a propane truck was blown up after it was struck by lightning near Albuquerque, N.M., burning three men.
